CLS doesn't just "white glove" test our commercial cleaning performance. We use testing devices to assure our Intensive Initial Clean-up is conducted for hygienic proficiency as well as periodically testing our Everyday Raised Bar performance.
CLS uses an ATP testing system which is the preferred choice of hospitals worldwide. The Hygiena SystemSURE Plus™ combines quantitative data collection with scientific measurement to validate surface cleaning effectiveness.
This ATP testing verifies:
Using UV light provides another testing measurement of cleaning efficacy. Supervisors will mark areas with a special daubber then follow-up after the shift with a blacklight to make sure all marks have been eliminated.
Supervisors also randomly check areas with a blacklight such as under toilet bowls to make sure there is thorough cleaning taking place — every day, every shift.
